I am incredibly honored by this recognition from National Invest In Veterans Week®. From its inception, this movement has been built on a foundation of service, integrity, and the unwavering belief that veterans deserve every opportunity to thrive in their post-service lives. I’ve made a deliberate decision not to take a salary from this work to ensure that the focus remains on the mission, not personal profit. This is a movement—not a business—and its purpose is rooted in advocacy, empowerment, and amplifying the voices of veterans across the nation.

For many veterans, the transition to civilian life brings challenges that extend far beyond the battlefield. Physical disabilities, mental health struggles, and economic barriers often make it difficult for veterans to reestablish stability and achieve their full potential. I have seen these realities firsthand and understand the critical importance of providing accessible resources, meaningful opportunities, and platforms that recognize the sacrifices veterans have made for our country.

At the heart of National Invest In Veterans Week® is a commitment to highlighting the resilience, innovation, and contributions of veterans. It’s a platform that recognizes not only their past service but also their capacity to lead in the present and future. This movement was designed to ensure that veterans’ voices are not just heard—they are celebrated.
