ICVE & National Invest In Veterans Week® Unite with ASVBO to Empower Veteran Entrepreneurs Globally
In a historic partnership, the International Chamber of Veteran Entrepreneurs (ICVE) and National Invest In Veterans Week® (NIVW) have joined forces with the American Society of Veteran Business Owners (ASVBO) to empower veteran entrepreneurs worldwide. These organizations have united their resources, expertise, and vision to create unparalleled opportunities for veterans transitioning to entrepreneurial ventures. Together, they are shaping the future of veteran entrepreneurship by building a global network dedicated to empowerment, innovation, and community.
Our Story: Empowering Veterans Through Unity
American Society of Veteran Business Owners (ASVBO) was founded in 2017 by the visionary staff at National Invest In Veterans Week®. The goal was simple yet profound: build a community where veteran entrepreneurs could leverage the skills they honed during military service to launch businesses, create jobs, and contribute to their communities. ASVBO remains rooted in the belief that veteran entrepreneurs bring unmatched discipline, resilience, and leadership to the business world.
This collaboration with ICVE and NIVW now amplifies ASVBO’s mission by incorporating international reach and digital innovation. Through Congressional recognition and global expansion, this partnership is transforming how veterans engage in entrepreneurship, ensuring they receive the support needed to succeed at every stage of their journey.
National Invest In Veterans Week®: Leading the Charge
National Invest In Veterans Week® (March 1-7) is a congressionally recognized event that celebrates the contributions of veteran entrepreneurs while providing them with access to resources, mentorship, and networking opportunities. It has also pioneered the creation of International Veterans Day℠, celebrated on March 3, which commemorates global military values and historical milestones.
Under the leadership of Jeff Shuford, NIVW expanded its reach across 40 markets, making it the largest veteran entrepreneurship network in the world. Shuford’s innovative initiatives, including the creation of state-specific and international domains, have revolutionized how veterans access services and connect globally.
Shuford’s recent retirement marks a new chapter for NIVW, with Angel Shuford stepping into the role of Vice President and Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
